Although there is a security problem in Sinaloa , it has been resolved and what has become clear is that there is a smear campaign not only against the state, but also against Governor Rubén Rocha Moya .
This was commented by Gerardo Fernández Noroña, who will be visiting this weekend to lead political events in Culiacán, Guasave and Ahome.
"I have no doubt that there is a problem that has been resolved, I think it is moving forward very well, but I also have no doubt that a self-serving campaign has been launched to try to depose Governor Rocha Moya with the intention of hitting not only him, but the movement and continuing with the version that we are linked to drug trafficking and all this type of thing," he said.

Meeting with Rocha Moya
In an exclusive interview with Luz Noticias, the president of the Senate confirmed that he held a private meeting with Governor Rocha , in which more personal than political issues were discussed, and where the state leader even gave him one of his books.
"We talked about the more personal part. He welcomed me into his house, he has a very nice library, he gave me a book. I didn't know he had written several books and a novel in particular about drug trafficking, it's called El Disimulo," he revealed.
Relationship with the United States
The Senator of the Republic considered that Mexico will have very strong pressure from the new government of the United States , because, although President Claudia Sheinbaum has even been praised by Donald Trump , the North American president will seek at all costs to change the world economic panorama.
"I think President Trump is determined, I don't know if he can achieve it, to change the current economic rules. I think he wants to return to protectionism. I think he wants to regain his production plant and strengthen his economy. I see that as difficult," he said.
Interventionism?
Regarding a possible US intervention in Mexico and specifically in Sinaloa due to the issue of drug trafficking, Fernández Noroña made it clear that both the president and the legislators will be firm in the defense of National Sovereignty.
"Our government has been very clear that we will not allow or give up even an inch of national sovereignty and independence . The hypocritical and perverse right says: they are protecting the drug traffickers... no, we are protecting our independence and sovereignty, because we fight them with all firmness, there is collaboration, coordination, joint work, all of that can be done, what we do not accept is that they want to intervene in our country under the pretext of the drug traffickers," he said.
In this regard, the Senate President considered that the United States should begin by cleaning up its territory, because the reason why there are so many American consumers is because there are also drug traffickers there.
Gerardo Fernández Noroña will be touring the municipalities of Culiacán, Guasave and Ahome this weekend to publicize the election of judges and magistrates that will take place on June 1.
