Federal Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch announced the capture of El 200 , and said that he is linked to homicides, extortion and attacks against federal forces , as well as being a generator of violence in Sinaloa.
Kevin Alonso was arrested last night, February 19, during an operation by the Army and the National Guard in the municipality of Culiacancito, where federal forces cordoned off the man to prevent him from escaping. Two other men were arrested along with El 200 , one of them being Kevin Alonso's uncle , who was identified as José Alonso, a member of the same criminal organization.
At the time of their capture, Kevin Alonso and José Alonso were in possession of weapons for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces and tactical equipment .
The detainees were transferred on a Mexican Air Force plane to the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO) of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), to integrate the investigation file and define their legal situation.

As part of the security strategy implemented in the state following the increase in violence due to the confrontation between two factions of the Sinaloa cartel, federal forces have captured key members of both Los Chapitos and Los Mayos ; among them is the son-in-law of Ismael El Mayo Zambada .
