Commander "Jaguar" is the State Police officer shot by La Costerita in Culiacán
This is the second time that the officer has been the victim of an attack in the capital of Sinaloa, having been shot last December.

It is Commander José Heriberto , better known as " Jaguar ", the State Preventive Police officer who was shot by unknown individuals on the Costerita de Culiacán on the morning of Saturday, March 8.
It was reported that the police chief's vehicle had several bullet impacts throughout the bodywork, and that his health was fine after the events that occurred in the southern sector of the capital of Sinaloa.
It's the second attack
It is important to mention that said commander had already suffered an attack on December 6 , when he was leaving the corporation and was intercepted on the airport bridge in Culiacán. Hours after the attack on Saturday in La Costerita , it was discovered that José Heriberto was the person who had been attacked.
Data establish that he was driving his Kia vehicle along Costerita and when he reached the Geovanni Zamudio bridge he was shot . After the attack, the officer crashed into the retaining wall of the bridge.
The area was restricted so that the Prosecutor 's Office staff could carry out the legal proceedings .
